Located in a remote island jungle, Tiwaka’s Tiki Bar & Grill is both the business and the home of the bartender, who views the world around him in a uniquely spiritual and fun loving way. His musings on his old dog, the parrot Tiwaka and the young Tahitian cook Sandy move the reader down an old jungle road that begins with a child’s wonder, through sadness and on to ecstasy.

Tiwaka’s Tiki Bar & Grill and it’s eclectic patrons help tell the story of a young man in love with Life. Tiwaka, the parrot, accepts chocolate covered nuts for words of wisdom and watches the wild and often mystical adventures unfold.
