Weekly Reads
I am failing dismally in my Weekly Reads assignments. I like the idea of reading at least three books, but in this household it’s simply not possible. However, I did complete two books so that’s good, right?
Books completed:
- In the Woods, Tana French (review will be posted in the next few days)
- Peace First, Uri Savir (review will be posted on The Internet Review of Books)
This week’s reading includes one carry over and two new books:
- One Nation Under Dog: Adventures in the New World of Prozac-Popping Puppies, Dog-Park Politics, and Organic Pet Food, Michael Schaffer
- Gabriel Garcia Marquez: A Life, Gerald Martin (review is for Feminist Review)
- Dirty Little Angels, Chris Tusa

I’ll be watching for your “In the Woods” review. Lately reviews have been mixed. At first they were all glowing. Wonder what’s up with that? My husband read it last year and liked it. Looks like quite a week of reading ahead of you!
1Hi!
“In The Woods” sounds like a great book! I’ll have to add that to my reading list! Have a great day!!

3Oops! Where did my comment go?
I said I like your assorted picks!
4I have been wanting to read In the Woods for a while now. I bought the book maybe 6 months ago and I’m still haven’t gotten to it. I recently read Dirty Little Angels by Chris Tusa and enjoyed – I’ll be dropping by to see what you though of it. Have a nice week.
5I have In the Woods on my tbr pile, just need to get to it. Looking forward to your review.
6I want so badly to read Tana French’s two books. It will have to wait until next year. I have too many book challenges to focus on.
